Michelle Nason

MA, LMHC, Certified Teacher

Michelle is a licensed mental health counselor at Charis Counseling Center, where she has been on staff for over twelve years. She brings a rare pairing to her clinical work: twenty-one years of licensed clinical practice held alongside a twenty-three-year career teaching English language arts in Florida public schools, most of those years running simultaneously — the therapist and the teacher inside the same classroom for two decades. Today she sees individuals and families with particular focus on supporting educators, students, and the families that hold them together. Her approach is warm, direct, and clinically grounded, shaped by lived experience in both chairs.
