Your team is probably under-equipped, if not disengaged.

The best managers are already emotionally intelligent. They care about people and can read them.

But when a high-performer starts snapping at colleagues, or a team goes dark after a reorg, you need more than good intentions.

The gap between noticing and navigating costs you retention, trust, and culture. No amount of virtual happy hours, engagement surveys, or generic "wellness benefits" will close it.

Self-paced depth and live application:

On-Demand Video Library

Nine self-paced modules of clinically grounded content will guide your leaders to apply to their emotional intelligence framework not only to themselves, but to their direct reports and team.

Modules: 9

Total Hours: 2

Access: 24/7, self paced

Includes: Companion guide + reflection prompts

Live Cohort Sessions

Five bi-weekly sessions where your leaders work through real scenarios with the course instructor and a cohort of peers. Workshops, seminars, and Q&A discussions are where the framework becomes practice.

Sessions: 5

Cadence: Bi-weekly

Duration: 1 hour each

Format: Workshop, Seminar, QA

Five Units in Ten Weeks

And a framework your leaders will be able to use daily.

01: The Emotional Operating System

We'll discuss how leaders process information through three intelligence centers: the head, the heart, and the body. This session will also introduce the Notice-Name-Navigate framework that follows throughout the entire course.

Workshop

02: Conflicting Emotions at Work

The anger you see on your team is rarely the real story. This session teaches leaders to see through surface-level frustration and to respond to what's actually happening (be it hurt, fear, or shame, etc).

Seminar + QA

03: Emotions That Keep Leaders Stuck

Imposter syndrome, avoidance, and the slide from healthy accountability into a shame can spiral quickly. This unit addresses the patterns that quietly erode decision-making, confidence, and growth.

Seminar + QA

04: The Emotions Leaders Miss

Loneliness, sadness, and gladness are deceptive, quiet, and can easily be missed. We'll talk about the undercurrents that shape culture, retention, and engagement in ways that never show up in a performance review.

Discussion

05: Integration & Action

Participants build a 30-day action plan tackling one personal practice, one team practice, and one conversation they've been avoiding. The framework becomes a leadership habit, not a one-time training.

Workshop

Clinical Expertise & Real World Facilitation

TIM BURKHOLDER
MA, LMHC

Prior to becoming a licensed therapist, Tim spent years as a software engineer at Lockheed Martin. His clinical specialty is emotional regulation, and his teaching style builds precise conceptual frameworks before showing you how to apply them. He's the creator and presenter of the Logic of Emotions video course that forms the foundation of this program.

JUSTIN JOHNSON
B2B Team Leader

With his decades of B2B industry background, Justin bridges the clinical framework to practical leadership and management. He ensures every session connects what your leaders are learning about emotions to the decisions they're making, the conversations they're having, and the teams they're responsible for.

For companies who know culture doesn't work like ping-pong

HR Leaders

Looking for leadership development that goes deeper than communication styles and personality assessments. Something your managers will actually reference six months later.

Operations Executives

Tired of watching good people leave because of preventable interpersonal breakdowns. Ready to invest in the capability gap between technical competence and people leadership.

Founders & CEOs

Building a culture where emotional awareness isn't weakness — it's how your leadership team makes better decisions, retains stronger people, and handles hard conversations without collateral damage.

Teams In Transition

Going through a reorg, rapid growth, leadership change, or post-crisis recovery where the human side of the work needs intentional support — not just operational logistics.

People-First Organizations

Companies where "we care about our people" isn't a line on the careers page — it's how decisions get made. And you want your leaders equipped to deliver on that promise.

Proactive, Not Reactive

You're not waiting for a crisis. You're investing before the turnover spike, before the culture survey dips, before your best manager burns out and takes the team with them.

Just A Reminder

This Is Education, Not Therapy

This cohort is professional development grounded in clinical expertise. It's not group therapy or a substitute for clinical treatment. No one needs to identify as "needing help" in order to benefit.

Your leaders are learning how emotions work, maybe now more than ever. They can lead with more precision through empathy and self-awareness. A licensed therapist designed the curriculum because clinical rigor matters. But the application is entirely professional.
